Through Cool, Lullaboy Refuses To Be Cool
JAKARTA - The singer from Indonesia-Singapore, Lullaboy, returned by bringing herne to a young person entitled Cool - her second single in 2023.
Raising the story of growing up, Cool is the culmination of Lullaboy's beliefs and life values. Hiding sincere lyrics in a series of songs that are relaxed, calm and dominated by synth, Lullaboy creates an anthem for anyone tired of trying to "adjust themselves" so that they are accepted by the world.
Lullaboy with a sickle highlights the characteristics of fake courage installed by young people who tend to sabotage themselves, please their peers, and romanticize destruction.
Lullaboy invites them to stay adrift in their own path, not to be affected by the pressure to change themselves, and to remain loyal to themselves.
"As my career and journey progressed, I began to realize that nothing was more important than following my own words and remaining loyal to myself," said Lullaboy in a written statement received by VOI, Monday.
