Mahfud MD Called Committed To Completely Investigate Suspicious Transactions Of IDR 349 Trillion
Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI Ahmad Sahroni assessed that the Money Laundering Task Force (TPPU) formed by Mahfud MD showed his commitment to thoroughly investigate the findings of Rp349 trillion.
"Apresiasi kinerja Satgas TPPU yang dibentuk Menkopolhukam Mahfud MD. Saya kira dari sini bisa kita lihat komitmen luar biasa Pak Mahfud bersama seluruh jajaran yang benar-betul mengusut kasus Rp349 triliun," ujar Sahroni dikutip ANTARA, Senin 15 Mei.
This is because the TPPU Task Force has submitted 33 reports of alleged money laundering with a value of Rp. 25.3 trillion to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Dozens of documents submitted to the KPK were part of the 300 analysis report files (LHA) and the examination report (LHP) by PPATK.
"Indeed, because (Rp. 349 trillion) occurs in a complex and different realm, so all of them cannot be investigated immediately. With this achievement, Pak Mahfud and Mrs. Sri Mulyani have answered our doubts," he said.
The total documents that are being studied by the Task Force are 300 letters. Sahroni asked all law enforcement agencies, especially in this report, the KPK to be prepared to receive reports of alleged money laundering by the TPPU Task Force. Because Sahroni wants reports after reports related to TPPU to be resolved immediately. "Ask all law enforcement agencies, especially the KPK to always be prepared to accept and investigate reports from the TPPU Task Force. In the future, there will still be many more reports sent, I hope everything can be processed immediately. Now, starting from this Rp. 25 trillion first, we will slowly execute this Rp. 349 trillion," he added.

He appealed to law enforcement agencies not to be afraid to investigate this case. Because he believes there will be many obstacles during the investigation process.
"In the investigation, with a number of these, there will definitely be many obstacles that prevent investigators from looking for evidence. So I ask investigators not to be afraid in the slightest, even to investigate thoroughly if there are individuals who make efforts to challenge the investigation," said Sahroni.
