Starting Today, Tangerang Metro Police Re-implement Manual Tickets
TANGERANG - Tangerang Metro Police has again imposed a manual ticket starting today, Monday, May 15, to optimize the electronic traffic law enforcement (ETLE) camera that has been installed in its jurisdiction. The manual ticketing is based on the Chief of Police's Telegram Letter Number ST/830/IV/HUK.6.2/2023, April 12, 2023.
"The manual ticket has been re-implemented to take action against violators who violate it," said Head of Tangerang Metro Police Traffic Unit, Kompol Joko Sembodo in his statement, Sunday, May 14.
Joko explained the reason for re-imposing a manual ticket. Because the number of vehicles, both two and four wheels, falsified their vehicle number plates.
"So manual ticketing is applied to cover areas where there is currently no ETLE to take action against violators," he said

Joko also explained that this manual ticket would prioritize taking action against minors and using cellphones while driving.
In addition, his party will also take action against motorists who run red lights, do not use calm and fight the flow.
"(Then) motorists under the influence of alcohol, vehicles do not match specifications, using vehicles not according to their designation, vehicles are overloaded and over-dimensional, as well as vehicles without fake RNKB or NRKB," he concluded.
