Strengthen Human Resources Transformation, Bank DKI Inaugurates Learning Center
JAKARTA - Bank DKI fully inaugurated the Learning Center facility which is a training and development institution for employee competence.
The General Grand Launching Learning Center of Bank DKI was held on Friday, May 12, and was also attended by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, Head of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office of DKI Jakarta Province, Dr. Arlyana Abubakar, Head of DKI Jakarta BPBUMD, Dr. Nasrudin Djoko Surjono and the ranks of DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Officials, BUMD Management ranks, management ranks of strategic partners of Bank DKI, one of which is the Indonesian Banking Development Institute (LPPI) as well as the Board of Commissioners and Directors of Bank DKI.
The inauguration of the Learning Center is part of Bank DKI's commitment to preparing competent and strong human resources in facing future banking challenges.
President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy said that this inauguration is a very important momentum for Bank DKI in presenting innovative and modern learning centers as part of Bank DKI Transformation. Moreover, Bank DKI workers until April 2023 amounted to 3,778 people, with details of 2,223 people or 59 percent of them being the millennial generation, 28 percent being generation Z, and the remaining 14 percent being generation X as the supervisor of young employees.
"This Bank DKI Learning Center is the center for preparing professional bankers who are the next generation to go to Indonesia Gold in 2045," said Fidri.
On the same occasion, while directly reviewing a number of facilities at the Learning Center of Bank DKI, Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono expressed his congratulations and appreciation for the inauguration of the Learning Center of Bank DKI.
"Congratulations on the inauguration of the Learning Center Bank DKI, as a training institution that can improve services to customers, so that later Bank DKI can become a pilot for other banks," said Heru.
With the vision of Becoming a Center for Competency Development of Quality Human Resources Able to Present Professional, Adaptive And Characterized People So As to Be Able to Encourage Sustainable Performance Growth, the Learning Center of Bank DKI, which is located on Jalan Wijaya I, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, has been developed and has been soft launching since 2020.
Built with the concept of millennials, cozy, and hi-tech, the Learning Center of Bank DKI stands on an area of 1,200 square meters with 4 floors equipped with a number of supporting facilities including: a comfortable and contemporary training room with wi-fi and LED Screen, Mini Bank Lab, Dining Area, Lounge, Computer Room, Assessment Room, Dafter Room, and Studio Area.
In addition, supporting facilities such as ATMs, Bank DKI Offices, Mosques, and parking lots are also presented to increase the convenience of learning activities at the Learning Center of Bank DKI. Including the development of learning platforms with the latest information technology, namely the Learning Management System (LMS) Application as a means of learning independently and flexibly, as well as technology-based infrastructure that allows online or hybrid learning. In addition, the curriculum that was built follows the times and is accompanied by experienced teaching instructors.

The Bank DKI Learning Center has also succeeded in obtaining a Sign of a List of Job Training Institutions from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transmigration and Energy Office. With the receipt of this decree, the Learning Center of Bank DKI has been recognized as a Competent Work Training Unit in issuing a Training Certificate for Payment Systems and Management of Rupiah Money (SPPUR) as well as organizing a Job Training Program in the field of SPPUR.
Furthermore, Fidri conveyed that the inauguration of the Learning Center Bank DKI was an effort made by the company in facing challenges in the future through an information technology approach. In addition to preparing the Learning Center, Bank DKI has also made various improvements and developments in the field of Human Resources, including improving policies, increasing and recognizing employee competencies through certification, promotional opportunities, improving career paths, as well as improving worker welfare and various other employee engagement programs.
"We have prepared a big plan to make the Learning Center of Bank DKI as a Corporate University which is a certified HR competency development institution, which is not only for the internals of Bank DKI, including BUMD and other BUMN, but also the general public," said Fidri.
On the same occasion, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi added that Bank DKI is paying important attention to human resource management by implementing various initiative strategies including a digitalization approach. Starting from the online recruitment process, automated management of worker data through the Human Capital Information System (HCIS), management of employee attendance in real time with the JakTeam application, to increasing worker capability and competence through training with the latest and digital-based curriculum through the Jak Learning application as well as various policy changes and organizations aimed at improving competence, engagement and employee culture.
