New Honda Brio Is Not Equipped With The Honda Sensing Feature, This Is HPM's Explanation
JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) presents an update on its flagship hatchback, New Honda Brio, which now appears more sporting and stylish and features are getting more complete.
However, the best-selling car in Indonesia is not embedded with safety features, namely Honda Sensing.
Yusak Billy, as Director of Sales, Marketing and Business Innovation of PT HPM, revealed that he did not present a Honda Sensing on the Brio model related to market targets and price issues that would rise from their bases.
"The features and technology are indeed related to the desire and target of the market itself, if you add features such as Honda Sensing, it will become a price issue," Billy said as quoted by ANTARA at the launch, Friday, May 5.
Indeed, the price issue will be an obstacle to the presence of the safety feature. Because, with the presence of Honda Sensing, it will increase the price of vehicles by around Rp. 20 million.
The price itself for the New Honda Brio 2023 is priced at the cheapest at IDR 165 million to IDR 243 million for both Brio Satya and Brio RS.
However, HPM confirms that New Honda Brio has carried out a series of trustworthy safety tests. So, consumers don't have to worry about that.
Honda New Brio has received an official certificate that can be trusted through the NCAP ASEAN which is an independent assessment program for the safety performance of passenger cars sold for Southeast Asia by winning 4 stars.
Since its launch in 2012, Honda Brio has indeed become one of the mainstay hatchbacks as an affordable entry-level car designed for young people and first time buyers.
