Indonesian Men's Volleyball Team Continues Hegemony At SEA Games 2023
JAKARTA - The Indonesian men's volleyball national team continues its hegemony in Southeast Asia. The Red and White squad won the gold medal again at the SEA Games.
The Indonesian men's volleyball team successfully met the target by winning the 2023 SEA Games gold medal after defeating the host Cambodia at the Olympic Indoor Stadium, Phnom Penh, Monday, May 8. Indonesia won with a convincing score of 3-0 (25-21, 25-10, 25-15).
With these results, the Indonesian men's volleyball national team scored a gold medal hat trick after previously being won at the SEA Games in the Philippines (2019) and SEA Games in Vietnam (2021).
Competing in front of thousands of host supporters, coach Jeff Jiang Jie changed the formation a little by bringing in Farhan Halim to replace Fahri Septian. For other players, remain Hendra Kurniawan, Rivan Nurmulki, Hernandez Zulfi, Dio Zulfikri, and Doni Haryono.
