Member Of The House Of Representatives Pockets The Names Of The 4 Companies Boss In Cikarang Who Invites Employees To Staycation Mode To Extend Contracts

BEKASI - Member of Commission VIII DPR Obon Tabroni admitted that he had pocketed four company names whose superiors were suspected of sexually harassing female employees in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java. The company's boss invited the employee to staycation at the hotel to extend the contract.

Obon said that he had communicated to a number of other victims with similar cases originating from different companies other than AD victims (24).

"Until now, only one person has dared to make a police report. But so far there have been elements of four companies who have indicated that they have committed acts of sexual harassment with the mode of extending the contract," he said at the Bekasi Metro Police Headquarters as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, May 6.

He hopes that this case will get attention from the central government because the arbitrariness of workers or female workers has often occurred.

"The government should respond to this case, one of the easiest ways to disseminate information to the company then emphasize it. If this case is found in the company, then do not give mercy," he said.

He hopes that other victims are willing to report this incident so that the police can immediately follow up on the case. Obon ensures that many agencies will guarantee the safety and security of victims.

"In terms of security, we have LPSK and then the local government has it, it is safe from the safety side. But from the other side, now if everything is emotional, not everyone is ready. But if many people dare, we will definitely help," he said.

Meanwhile, the Bekasi Metro Police Chief Kombes Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi ensured that public reports would be followed up through efforts to deepen cases by collecting data and a number of necessary information materials.

"Of course, it still needs to be processed and there is time to go through the process," said Twedi.
