After Eid 2023, Trade Minister Zulhas Claims Prices Of Goods Basic Basic Needs Are Stable
JAKARTA - The Minister of Trade (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan again claimed that the prices of basic necessities (bapok) were stable and the supply was quite post-Eid 2023.
This was conveyed by Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan after reviewing the prices and supply of bapok at Terong Market, Makassar, South Sulawesi on Wednesday, May 3.
"I am grateful, before and after Lebaran 2023, the availability of bapok is more than sufficient and the price is stable," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, May 3.
Zulhas, as Zulkifli Hasan is familiarly called, said that the Ministry of Trade together with relevant agencies continue to ensure price stability and that the supply of basic necessities is maintained, both before and after Lebaran 2023 throughout Indonesia.
"Yesterday I was in Jayapura, there was a lot of supply there, the price was stable. Today at the Makassar Terong Market, the price of bapok is cheap," he said.
Based on observations, said Zulhas, the price of medium rice in Terong Market was recorded at IDR 12,000 per kg, Bulog medium rice IDR 9,450 per kg, premium rice IDR 13,000 per kg, and sugar IDR 15,000 per kg.
