Prepare Lyrics! This Is A Row Of Hits For Mass Karaoke At The Yovie Widianto Concert

JAKARTA - Yovie Widianto will hold a concert featuring a number of hits by cooperating with several singers in an event entitled "Yovie Widianto: Billion Songs Confest" tonight, Wednesday, at the Jakarta Convention Center.

In the concert, the musician promised that a series of hits from him would be performed by a number of singers including Kahitna, Rossa, Raisa, Tulus, Yura Yunita, Arsy Widianto, Yovie & Nuno, Tiara Andini, Lyodra, and Ziva Magnolya.

"There are so many songs that we want to show that can't be finished in just three hours. Maybe this concert should be a few days," said Yovie Widianto during a media conference in Jakarta, Monday, quoting Antara.

Yovie lalu mengatakan sejumlah hits yang akan dimainkan di antaranya lagu Cerita Cinta, lau Dia Tahu, Soulmate, dan Cantikdari Kahitna.

There is also a song from Rossa, namely Too Love and Now, Merenda Kasih from Ruth Sahanaya, Not For Me Owned by Rio Febrian, and In My Way and Rindu Dalam Hatidari Arsy Widianto.

In addition, there will also be Terlanjur Mencinta and Feel Beautiful from Tiara Andini, as well as Maintaining The Heart and Holy Promise of Yovie & Nuno.

Known for being proficient in creating many hit songs, Yovie feels that his achievements so far are not only because of his ability to compose songs, but the love of the community who appreciates his works. He himself sometimes still feels surprised and can't believe it when listening to his works is played simultaneously at several radio stations.

"Making a hit song is really difficult, that's why many of my songs are sung en masse because they get love from the community. I have that luck. If I hear my work on the radio, it turns out that there are so many traces. And this is definitely because of the extraordinary prayers of people who love taking care of me for 37 years of career," he explained.

Yovie emphasized that he was not a maestro. Thanks to prayer, he said, his songs can be accepted by the audience with such great love. Through the upcoming "Billion Songs Confest" concert, he hopes to celebrate the progress of Indonesian music.

"Hopefully Indonesian music will progress, be peaceful, and everything will be fine for the better in the future. We need the energy of the audience who come and sing as hard as possible because it will be an extraordinary energy increase for us," concluded Yovie.
