The Shooting Case, MUI Calls Lampung A Terrorist Escape
BANDAR LAMPUNG - The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of Lampung said that this province has now become a place of escape or hiding which is popular with terrorists.
"For the incident at the Central MUI, of course, we regret the shooting incident. This is also a special concern for the Lampung MUI, the Regional Government and the police to continue to synergize, because this province has become a destination area for terrorists," said Chairman of the Lampung MUI Moh Mukri as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 2.
According to him, this can be seen from the existence of a number of terrorist elements who were arrested by Densus 88 in Lampung Province some time ago.
"It was proven some time ago that Densus 88 also arrested and shot several terrorists in Lampung. Yes, that means that radicalism has entered the villages, so from now on there is no need to hesitate to take firm action," he said.
Mukri also asked law enforcement officials to immediately reveal the motives of the perpetrators of the shooting so that the public could be brighter by this incident.

"Once again this incident is very unfortunate, but indeed the motive has not been revealed. This is what we ask from the police to immediately reveal. Are the perpetrators affiliated with certain groups," he said.
Moreover, he continued, now it has entered political years whose atmosphere has begun to warm up, therefore these incidents should not cause multiple interpretations among the community.
"Don't let there be assumptions, what is this? Whose orders?, whose orders?, right. Therefore, I as chairman of the MUI deeply regret the incident and condemn it," he said.
