IDX Optimistic Number Of Capital Market Investors In Solo Raya Reaches 300 Thousand By The End Of 2023
JAKARTA - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is optimistic that the number of capital market investors in Solo Raya until the end of 2023 can reach 300,000.
Head of the Central Java IDX 2 Office, Muhammad Wira Adibrata in Solo, Monday, May 1, said that currently the number of capital market investors in Solo Raya is 216,660 investors. This figure has increased by 7,994 investors compared to the end of last year.
He said the increase in the number of investors showed that the public's interest in stock instruments, mutual funds and bonds was increasing.
"Especially for young people with an age range of 18-25 years and a productive age of 31-40, it makes the biggest contribution, namely 65 percent," he said, quoted from Antara.
Meanwhile, to continue to increase the number of capital market investors, his party has compiled 609 activities with a target of 69,000 participants in the general public.
"With the activities and support of various Central Java IDX 2 stakeholders, we are optimistic that in 2023 the number of investors will continue to rise and reach 300,000 investors," he said.
His party also continues to intensively conduct education with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and securities companies in Solo Raya to various communities.

He said the Surakarta City Government through the Surakarta City Regional Economic Acceleration Team (TPAKD), IDX and OJK have committed to educating ASN by launching the Solo Cheerful program, namely Solo Smart Investment Safe.
"In addition to the Surakarta City Government, the Karanganyar Regency Government and Boyolali Regency Government also fully support the efforts of the Central Java 2 IDX in conducting capital market education and have included capital market education into the TPAKD program," he said.
