Tesla Eliminates Model S And X For Asia-Pacific
JAKARTA - Recently, it was reported that Tesla no longer provided electric cars, Model S and Model X for several Asian-Pacific countries.
Reporting from Reuters, Sunday, April 30, 2023, both the Tesla Model S and Model X are no longer available in Asian-Pacific countries, such as Australia, Thailand, Singapore, and New Zealand.
Nonetheless, other cars sold by Tesla such as Model 3 and Model Y are still available in those countries.
Currently, Tesla has not provided information regarding the cause of the discontinued sales of Model S and Model X in some of these countries.
In fact, Tesla had set a record for shipments in the January-March quarter. However, for the delivery of Model X and Model S, which have the highest prices, it tends to decrease by 38 percent.
Tesla has made several efforts to sell its products with a significant increase. One of them is cutting the prices of some of its models for the global market.
Of course, this is a tough job for the company owned by Elon Musk. What's more, investors have observed the risk of eroded profit margins due to the price cuts.
