Having Lost In The Waves, Anglers At Teluk Awang Port Were Found Lifeless
JAKARTA - The Mataram SAR team and residents evacuated an angler named Amaq Zaini (37), a resident of Mertak Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, who was found dead after being swept away by the waves while fishing at Teluk Awang Port in the local area.
"The victim went missing while fishing and was found dead today (Sunday)," said Public Relations of SAR Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, I Gusti Lanang Wiswananda, Antara, Sunday, April 30.
The unfortunate incident experienced by Amaq Zaini began on Saturday, April 29 at around 23.00 WITA, the victim and two of his friends dived to shoot at Pier 3 of Teluk Awang Port.
At around 23.00 WITA, two of his friends no longer saw the victim diving around where they dived.
"The victim's friend had time to search and comb the victim around the dive site, but was not found and thought that the victim returned to land to rest," he said.
Then the victim's friend looked to the land or by the sea to determine whether the victim was resting, but did not find the victim's whereabouts and decided to contact the families of the victims and Babinsa and Babinkamtibmas Mertak Village.

Furthermore, the search continued on Sunday, April 30, around the scene and the victim was found dead by local residents on the edge of Awang Beach or about two nautical miles from the north of the scene. The victim was then taken to the funeral home for burial.
"The victim was found in Awang Asam, Mertak Village. One leg of the victim is missing," said Junaidi, a local villager.
