365 Indonesian Citizens In Sudan Again Evacuated To Indonesia, Migrant Workers: No Obstacles During Evacuation

The Soekarno-Hatta Airport City Police have secured the arrival of 365 Indonesians affected by a gun conflict from Sudan at Soekarno Hatta Airport Terminal 3 on Sunday, April 30.

Of the 365 refugees, consisting of 345 men and 20 women and 3 children.

They arrived at around 05.30 WIB using Garuda Indonesia GA991 on the Jeddah route.

At 05.40 WIB, Indonesian citizens affected by the Sudanese conflict came out through Gate 8 of International Arrival Terminal 3.

At 06.00 WIB, the refugees from Sudan were directed to Lounge Umrah International Arrival Terminal 3 Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

"Alhamdulillah, the evacuation process has no problems. Thank you to the government for being able to evacuate properly," Satori, a migrant worker from Sudan, told reporters on Sunday, April 30.

Satori received information on repatriation to the country of origin from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Sudan. He is in Sudan to work.

"Information from the Indonesian Embassy. I worked there, it's been 6 months," he said.

Then at 06.20 WIB, hundreds of Indonesian refugees from Sudan were taken to the East Jakarta Hajj Dormitory using 15 buses.
