Officers Will Give Consequences If Newcomers Don't Report Districts
JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept. (Sudin Dukcapil) predicts that around 3,500 migrants will enter Central Jakarta with an average age of 25 to 29 years.
"In 2023, it is predicted that around 3,500 newcomers will enter Central Jakarta. This number will increase when compared to 2022, which only amounts to 2,300 post-Eid immigrants," said Head of the Central Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-dept., Syamsu Bachri to reporters, Friday, April 28.
Syamsu Bachri said that migrants who complained about their fate to DKI Jakarta continued to experience an increase, except for 2021, which experienced a decline.
In 2020 the number of immigrants is 2,000 people, in 2021 it will decrease to 1,700 migrants.
"The background of immigrants entering Central Jakarta is the background of high school education," he said.
Syamsu Bachri asked immigrants to immediately report their whereabouts if they were already in DKI. Such as visiting the village, sub-district to the Central Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-dept.

"They are required to bring a transfer certificate from their regional Dukcapil to come. Bring data to the village, sub-district or Dukcapil, Central Jakarta, later they will be given a report form for newcomers who must be filled in," he said.
After the newcomers filled out the form, then the form was taken to be submitted to the RT where they lived. Later, Dukcapil officers will coordinate with the RT whether the migrant has submitted a form or not.
"If within one week they do not take care of the existing provisions, then the Resident's Population Identification Number (NIK) will be disabled," he said.
