The Following Is Honda's Plan In The Development Of Electric Cars Until 2027
JAKARTA - Japanese auto giant Honda confirmed that their latest medium to large EV vehicle will use its own platform for 2025.
The announcement was made directly by Honda through a presentation on the company's future. What's more, the manufacturer is focusing on technology and electrification.
Honda is currently developing a new platform, e:Architecture for the 2025 EV model. However, the manufacturer did not reveal further about this platform as reported by Motor1, Tuesday, April 25.
The company also said it was developing internal software, including working on advanced driver assistance, and connected vehicle features. This makes Honda hire human resources twice as much as planned.
In addition, the Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX EV will be sold starting in 2024. Both are still using the platform from General Motors, Ultium. Honda will continue to partner with GM to launch electric vehicles starting in 2027.
Others, Honda will also launch N-Van EV, a tiny commercial vehicle in the first half of 2024 for the Japanese market. Then, there is N-One, a retro-style model will arrive in 2025. Then, two other small models in 2026, one of which is SUV.

For the Chinese market, Honda will prepare several EVs such as e:NS2 and e:NP2 which will arrive in early 2024. By the end of 2024, they will launch production versions of the SUV e:N.
Honda has plans to sell all electric vehicles in the bamboo curtain country by 2025, following seven EV models for 2027.
