Yamaha Janus, A Twin Of Yamaha Grand Filano From Vietnam

JAKARTA - Yamaha is one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturers in producing scooters. Including producing retro-style modern scooters.

In Indonesia, Yamaha has introduced retro-style modern scooters through the Yamaha Fazzio and Grand Filano. The two scooters have a Vespa-like design that complements the rider's modern lifestyle according to current trends.

Yamaha Grand Filano also has a distant relative who has a similar design, namely the Yamaha Janus for the Vietnam market.

Even though it carries a retro theme, the embedded features are certainly not out of date. Janus has features such as a Stop Start System, and SMG seamless starter, and can be connected to the My Yamaha Motor application on the device.

Yamaha Janus also offers a runway that is no less than its distant relatives. Equipped with a 125 cc Blue Core engine, this scooter is capable of producing 9.38 hp and 9.6 Nm of torque.

Even so, Janus does not carry hybrid technology like Fazzio and Grand Filano.

In terms of dimensions, there are also differences. The Janus is smaller than the Grand Filano with a length of 1,850 mm, a width of 705 mm, and a height of 1,120 mm.

As a comparison with his brother, Yamaha Janus is valued at 29 million VND (Vietnamese currency) or around IDR 18.2 million. This is cheaper when compared to Grand Filano which costs IDR 27 million (OTR) Jakarta.
