The Minister Of Agriculture Ensures That The Supply Of Beef In Bekasi Is Sufficient For Other Regions
JAKARTA - Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo ensured that the availability of beef in Bekasi was sufficient to supply other areas. This is after reviewing the cattle farm belonging to a private company in Karangmekar Village, Kedung Waringin, Bekasi Regency, West Java.
"In all supply bags, according to the balance sheet we have, the availability ahead of Eid al-Fitr is in a safe condition. So we can fulfill the availability and needs properly. And I make sure the availability in Bekasi, in Karawang is ready to supply it to other areas," said Minister of Agriculture Syahrul in his statement in Jakarta, Saturday.
It is recorded that the stock of beef cattle currently available in one Bekasi company has reached 3,563 and 2,538 heads are in Sukabumi's cage. This number will still increase considering the additional stock of cattle from Australia.
"We hope that especially in Jabotabek, the availability of meat is better than last year until above 15 percent. Well, what we anticipate at this time is to prevent a high increase. So everything here must be prepared," he said.
Minister of Agriculture SYL added that the current task of the Ministry of Agriculture is to prepare availability so that it remains even excessive. Do not let, he said, entering the national meat stock holiday is not counted well.
"I always talk about availability because price issues are not my job. My job is availability, but of course we must support each other with trade and provincial governments and district governments," he explained.

His party will also include 250 cows from Australia through Tanjung Priok Port to increase the cattle population at home.
"We have a cage in Sukabumi Curug with an area of 14.5 hectares and a loading capacity of 4,850," he said.
The Ministry of Agriculture ensures that the availability of ready-to-cut cows is safe, where currently there are around 32 beef importers who have 42,079 ready-to-cut cows and 1,528 buffalo ready to cut.
