Karawang Police Invite Residents To Go Home For Eid 2023 To Leave Vehicles At The Police Post
JABAR - Karawang District Police Chief AKBP Wirdhanto Hadicaksono said the police station in the Karawang area would be used as a place to store vehicles for free during the 2023 Eid homecoming season.
"For residents who will return to their hometowns using public transportation, they can entrust their vehicles to the police or police station," said the Police Chief, in Karawang, West Java, Monday, April 10, which was confiscated by Antara.
He said all police and police offices in Karawang were used as storage sites for travelers, in order to secure vehicles belonging to travelers returning to their hometowns using public transportation.
According to him, by making motorbike storage for travelers at the Karawang Police, it is hoped that travelers can feel calm and comfortable while in their hometown.
"Of course it's more comfortable with public transportation. Motorbikes can trust us. So please use the police or police station as a place of storage," he said.

The police chief hopes that the free vehicle storage service can suppress crimes that take advantage of empty houses that are being left behind by their owners.
On that occasion, the Police Chief also appealed to residents who wanted to go home to their hometowns to ensure that their doors and windows were properly locked.

The police chief also appealed to people who would go home to check the electrical system and revoke the gas stove in their respective homes. This is necessary to avoid the possibility of a fire.
