Husband And Wife Couple In Siak Sabu Transactions Stored In Contraceptive Devices, Thwarted By Prison Officers

SIAK - Siak Sri Indrapura Class IIB Detention Center Officer, Riau Province thwarted the smuggling of illegal methamphetamine items stored in a contraceptive device provided by a wife for her husband who was an inmate there.

Head of Class IIB Rutan Siak Sri Indrapura, explained that this arrest began with the suspicion of prison officials.

At that time the prison officer, Briliant Jati escorted NM visitors to visit the HN prison inmates (WBP) and saw suspicious movements.

"Awal memasuki ruang besuk, pengunjung tersebut langsung masuk ke toilet yang ada pada area ruang besuk dalam waktu yang cukup lama. Setelah keluar dari toilet pengunjung langsung memberikan sesuatu ke WBP H," kata Karutan dikutip ANTARA, Rabu 5 April.

Then the Jati Briliant Rutan Officer conducted an examination of WBP H and visitors. After an examination, it was found that an object suspected of being a narcotic type of methamphetamine weighing 3.36 grams in the back trouser pocket of the WBP at the incident on Monday.

"From NM's confession, initially the items were stored in a contraceptive device, after the officers found the items, they immediately reported the findings to the Head of Security," said Briliant.

Then the Head of the Detention Center Security immediately withdrew the WBP from the visiting room for an initial examination. Then he reported the findings to Karutan to follow up.

"Then Karutan immediately coordinated with the Siak Police Chief regarding the findings," he said.

Furthermore, the findings, visitors, along with two WBP people suspected of being involved were handed over to the Siak Police. Then the two parties made a handover report for further development.
