Reported To The Police For Taking Off Her Shirt While Performing, Widy Vierratale: It's Still Normal
JAKARTA - It has been four months since Widy Soediro Nichlany, or better known as Widy Vierra, was reported for her stage action in Palu, Central Sulawesi last year. She said she had no problem with the police report against her.
As previously known, several youths on behalf of the Sulawesi Youth Forum reported Widi taking off her shirt during a gig in Palu to the National Police Headquarters on 16 November 2022.
Responding to this, Widi said that she and her band did not know much about the reports that were made. She admitted that there was no conversation about this with other Vierratale personnel.
"I don't even know (reported). The problem is that I just performed, I don't know, there is no news in our group (Vierratale). Yes, that means only happens in the media," said Widy Vierratale in Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, Monday, March 20, 2023.

When asked again about her stage act of taking off her shirt, Widy said that it was part of the stage act, and the aim was to make the performance more exciting without any other intention.
After a long time joining a band that plays metal music, apart from Vierratale, Widy sees that her stage actions are still normal so far. What she does on stage is also done by other metal bands.
For her, as long as what was displayed was still in the normal stage, there should be no problem. She said that it was impossible for her stage action to go beyond normalcy. With a clear example, Widi said that it was impossible for her to have sex on stage if she wanted to show porn action.
"It's just normal, metal bands have always been like that. In the past, band members were just the same, that's all. At least it's impossible to have sex (on stage), maybe that's all, the rest is normal, it's the same," she concluded.
