29 Players Called To Participate In Training Camp For The 2023 U-20 World Cup, Including 3 Candidates For Naturalization

JAKARTA – As many as 29 Indonesian U-20 national team players have been summoned by Shin Tae-Yong to undergo a training camp (TC) in preparation for the 2023 U-20 World Cup.

The names summoned will later take part in training camps in Jakarta and South Korea. Players who are in the process of naturalization are also included in the list called by the Korean coach.

Rafael Struick, Ivar Jenner, and Justin Hubner are players who are currently undergoing this process. Apart from that, several names of the 52-year coach's subscriptions are also on the list.

One of the names that Shin Tae-yong has re-trusted is Marselino Ferdinan. This player previously could not defend the Indonesian national team at the U-20 Asian Cup in Uzbekistan.

The Indonesian national team is scheduled to start their training camp on March 20. The agenda coincides with the senior national team preparing to face Burundi on the FIFA Matchday on 25 and 28 March.

The names gathered will undergo training for a few days in Jakarta. They then continued their program to South Korea.

The 2023 U-20 World Cup will take place in six cities in Indonesia. The age group competition starts on May 20 and will end on June 11.
