Both Tough And Versatile, Any Striking Difference Between Nissan Terra And Subaru Crosstrek?
JAKARTA - Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) cars are the most popular type of car for consumers today. Recently, two Japanese manufacturers, namely Nissan and Subaru, released their latest SUV, Nissan with Terra and Subaru with Crosstrek.
Not only have a large capacity, but both are also tough and able to drive in various conditions. Even so, both have advantages and disadvantages. What are they?
Engine & transmission
With a 2.5-liter diesel engine and 4-cylinder in line mated to a seven-speed automatic system, the Nissan Terra is capable of producing 187 hp of power and 450 Nm of torque with a 4x4 drive system.
Meanwhile, Crosstrek has less power than Terra. Equipped with a 2.0 liter DOHC 4-cylinder petrol engine coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the resulting engine is 154 hp and 196 Nm of torque.
Dimension
Nissan Terra excels in terms of dimensions. It has a length of 4,900 mm, width of 1,865 mm, height of 1,865 mm and a wheelbase of 2,859 mm.
Meanwhile, Crosstrek has a length of 4,480 mm, width of 1,800 mm, height of 1,600 mm and a wheelbase of 2,670 mm.

The Nissan Terra has features that the Subaru Crosstrek doesn't have, namely Wireless Charger, Follow Me Home Headlamps, and Automatic Headlamps.
Meanwhile, the Subaru Crosstrek features Adaptive Cruise Control. Whereas, Terra didn't have it.
Price
With lots of things to offer Terra, Nissan sells the latest Terra at IDR 478 million.
Meanwhile, Subaru sets the price for its newest SUV, Crosstrek, which is more expensive at IDR 549 million.
