PSG Defender Achraf Hakimi Accused Of Rape

JAKARTA - Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defender Achraf Hakimi is currently facing an investigation by the authorities in France. This is related to the alleged rape reported by a woman.

Quoted from The Sun on Tuesday, February 28, a 23-year-old woman made a statement to the French police this weekend. She admitted that she had been raped by Hakimi, but did not want to file a complaint.

The alleged victim told the officers she only wanted to make a statement. However, because of the woman's actions, currently, the prosecutor is personally investigating the case considering the seriousness of the report and the reputation of the reported party.

Sources describe a chronology of events whose truth cannot be ascertained. This case began when Achraf Hakimi and this woman met on Instagram on January 16, 2023. The Moroccan defender then invited the woman to his home in Boulogne, France, on Saturday, February 25.

The invitation was given by Hakimi when he was alone at home. Meanwhile, his wife, Hiba Abouk, is on vacation in Dubai with their two children.

When she arrived at the invitation location, the woman said that Hakimi immediately kissed her while lifting her clothes. Not only that but Hakimi was also said to have kissed the woman's breasts, before forcing sex.

Despite being pushed back, the woman finally managed to free herself after kicking Hakimi with her leg. Under stress, the woman then texted a friend to pick her up.

Regarding the rape allegations filed by the woman, Hakimi has not yet provided an answer or objection. The 24-year-old player was even seen attending the 2022 FIFA Best Player Awards Gala on Tuesday, February 28, in the early hours of WIB.
