Ojol Persecuted Restaurant Employees Is Arrested, Police Said Perpetrator Hit Victim Spontaneously Because Of Wrong Order
JAKARTA - An online motorcycle taxi driver with the initials IIR (48) was arrested by members of the Kembangan Police Criminal Investigation Unit in connection with the abuse of restaurant employees. The assault incident occurred at a ramen restaurant in Lippo Mall Puri Indah, Kembangan, West Jakarta.
West Jakarta Metro Police Head of Public Relations Commissioner Moch Taufik Iksan confirmed the arrest. The victim is a female employee with the initials YF (23).
"The perpetrator with the initials IIR was arrested at a house of the perpetrator's relative in the South Kembangan area, West Jakarta," he said when confirmed, Wednesday, February 8.
The incident started when IIR received a Gofood order from a Ramen restaurant located at Lippo Mall Puri Indah. After confirming with the cashier, then the perpetrator waited for the order in the special area of the Online Ojek Shelter.
After a while of waiting, the victim came to hand over the order to the perpetrator. The perpetrator asked whether the order was correct or not, then the victim answered "yes".
Next, the offender went to take the order. However, while still on the way, the perpetrator was called by the ramen company that the order brought by the perpetrator was wrong. The perpetrator was asked to return to the ramen and an argument ensued on the phone.

"After returning to Lippo, the perpetrator met the victim and an argument ensued again. The perpetrator, who was already emotional, reflexively slapped the victim's face with his right hand," he said.
As a result of the slap by the perpetrator IIR, the victim YF suffered a bruise on the right eye. The victim was taken to the hospital for road treatment.
The perpetrator was charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code for his actions. The perpetrator has also been languishing in the Kembangan Police detention cell.
