These are Rock Vocalists Who are Included in Rolling Stone's List of the 200 Best Singers of All Time
JAKARTA - Rolling Stone Magazine released a list of the 200 Greatest Singers Of All Time (200 Best Singers of All Time).
Freddie Mercury (Queen), Ozzy Osbourne (Black Sabbath), Axl Rose (Guns N' Roses), Ronnie James Dio (Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Dio), Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave) and Steve Perry (Journey) was one of the few rock vocalists to make the list of the 200.
This recent list ranges from Aretha Franklin to Rosalía and other major artists known for their striking voices.
This time, the list does not include big names like Celine Dion, Pink, Jennifer Hudson, Nat King Cole, Dionne Warwick, and others.
The reason, Rolling Stone anticipated complaints from fans who disagree with their choice of names.
"Before you start scrolling (and commenting), keep in mind that this is a list of the Greatest Singers, not the Greatest Voices List. Talent is impressive; transcendent genius," Rolling Stone said in its introduction.
