Previously, the Director of Health Promotion and Community Empowerment of the Ministry of Health, Widyawati, reminded the public not to be careless in implementing health protocols because COVID-19 still exists even though the case has been sloping in recent times.
"Because maybe now it's a little sloping, so ignore it", she said at a seminar in Jakarta.
Widyawati noted that reflecting on the experience, the trend of increasing COVID-19 cases in Indonesia was partly due to people not being aware of implementing health protocols, namely wearing masks, washing hands with water and soap, maintaining distance, staying away from crowds, and reducing mobility.
"The high mobility of the community is also the cause of the increase in cases", she said.
