JAKARTA The act of cat abuse by a man in front of his rented house on Jalan Kayumanis III, Matraman District, East Jakarta, has a long tail. The cat animal community plans to do a post-mortem related to the death of the animal.
"Regarding the latest developments, the cat was brought by the community for a post-mortem," said Matraman Police Chief Kompol Tribuana Roseno when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, November 9.
However, the police do not yet know in detail the location of the animal hospital that will carry out the post-mortem.
"(Where is the discipline) I don't know yet," he said.
The motive for the cat's abuse to death stems from the perpetrator who was upset because in front of his house he often smelled an unpleasant odor by a group of wild animals. On that basis, the perpetrator felt annoyed until the heinous act occurred.
The action was carried out by irresponsible people at Jalan Kayumanis 3, Matraman District, East Jakarta, East Jakarta, Sunday, November 6.
The perpetrator with the initials DS (47), was reported to the Matraman Police. He surrendered and underwent the examination process. With the threat of Article 302 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code,DS may not be detained because it is under 5 years old.
"Engga ditahan, ancamannya di bawah 5 tahun," kata Kapolsek Matraman Kompol Tribuana Roseno saat dikonfirmasi VOI.
Kompol Tribuana menjelaskan, jika ancaman pidana di bawah 5 tahun maka seseorang hanya dapat wajib laporan tanpa proses penahanan.
"If the threat is under 5 years old, he is not detained, so he is obliged to report it but the process is still ongoing," he said.
Meanwhile, regarding the legal process for the perpetrators, the police chief explained that it was dependent on the reporting party. If the reporter is still continuing his report, the legal process will continue.
"If the reporter does not withdraw the report, then continue. The reporter has a cat (petrator). The status of the perpetrator is still a witness," said Kompol Tribuana.
