836 Electric Vehicles from Toyota, Hyundai and Wuling Support the G20 Summit
JAKARTA - The Indonesian G20 National Committee is said to have provided 836 electric vehicles to support the agenda of the G20 Summit, which will take place from 13-16 November.
Secretary of the Ministry of State Secretariat Setya Utama said the vehicles came from various automotive companies that have a large market base in Indonesia.
"These electric vehicles come from Toyota, Hyundai and Wuling," he said at a press conference on Monday, November 7.
According to Setya, a large number of these fleets were used to help smooth the mobility of the delegates and also the media crew who were present directly to the event venue in Nusa Dua, Bali.
"What is certain will be used by VIP and VVIP guests," he said.

Setya added that the government was quite helped by the participation of business actors in this event because it could save the state budget quite significantly.
"Those who provide electric vehicles are purely endorsements, so we don't pay at all," he said.
Furthermore, Setya detailed that the total number of electric vehicles supported by SOEs and also several units that were purchased would be 962 vehicles.
"There are 545 electric motorbikes, 26 electric buses can be borrowed from PT Inka and Damri," he said.
