COVID-19 Update as of November 3rd: 4,951 New Cases from Examination of 66,257 Specimens
JAKARTA - The Task Force for Handling COVID-19 released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 66,257 specimens were examined with the results of 4,951 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulated positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia reached 6,507,610 people and active cases rose by 2,027 to 32,080 cases", said Task Force data, Thursday, November 3.
Today's recovered cases increased by 2,882 cases, bringing the total to 6,316,793 recovered people. Then, positive confirmation that 42 died and a total of 158,737 people.
The province with the highest number of new cases is DKI Jakarta with 1,823 cases. Followed by West Java with 694 new cases. East Java has 681 new cases. Then, Banten with 394 new cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 1,200 recovered cases. Followed by East Java with an additional 577 recovered cases, Banten with an additional 265 recovered cases, and West Java with an additional 253 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 110,66,196.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 10.35 percent", he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 5,462 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 205,167,002 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 171,937,332 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 65,193,649 and the fourth dose was 671,783. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
