Victim Of Extortion Of Richard Mille Luxury Watch Who Allegedly Involving Inspector General Andi Rian Is Asked To Report Ombudsman
JAKARTA - Commissioner of the Ombudsman, Yohanes Widiantoro asked the victim of alleged extortion from reporting fraud on Richard Mille's watch worth Rp. 77 billion, named Tony Sutrisno, to report to the Ombudsman. This case is suspected to involve high-ranking police officers including the South Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Andi Rian Djajadi.
"The Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia encourages victims, in this case, Mr. Tony Sutrisno, to dare to report to the Ombudsman. Based on this report, ORI will use its authority and follow up on it," Yohanes told reporters, Wednesday, November 2.
According to him, extortion is a clear violation of the law. Moreover, the perpetrator is suspected to be a high-ranking police officer, so it must be proven as soon as possible.
The goal, said Yohannes, is to improve the image of Bhayangkara Corps in society and continue to improve.
"The allegation of extortion by law enforcement officers against perpetrators of criminal acts is a violation of the law and also the professional code of ethics. So the truth must be proven immediately so that it can be followed up, even if it involves the Pati Polri," he said.

"Of course, this is important to investigate and we will try to coordinate with the internal supervisors, either the general supervision inspectorate or related to professional ethics supervision in Propam," said Commissioner of National Police, Yusuf Warsyim.
The name of Inspector General Andi Rian Djajadi is said to be included in the blackmail diagram. He is suspected of being involved while serving as Director of General Crimes at the Criminal Investigation Department.
In addition, Yusuf also mentioned that the diagram regarding the alleged extortion will be investigated. This is because several police officers are suspected of being involved in extortion.
Later, in the investigation, it is said, the reporting party will be questioned. The goal is to ensure the truth of the extortion act.
"I think the charter needs to be confirmed by the reporter, if the reporter (victim) confirms the contents of the chart," said Yusuf.
