Gibran Welcomes the Exploration of Cooperation with South Korean Entrepreneurs
SOLO - Mayor of Surakarta, Central Java, Gibran Rakabuming Raka welcomed the recent efforts to explore cooperation with South Korean businessmen to Solo.
"We have discussed many things", he said in Solo, Central Java, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 25.
However, Gibran does not want to talk much about it because no cooperation plan will be carried out by a South Korean entrepreneur, Hyundai Motor.
"Yeah, just wait, you understand", he said.
When asked about the possibility of collaborating with the Esemka car factory, Gibran also did not want to discuss the details.
"That will be negotiated later, the important thing is that we have brought it there with the Ambassador (Indonesian Ambassador to South Korea)", he said.
Including, regarding cooperation in the procurement of electric vehicles with the Surakarta City Government, according to him, it is still only an assessment.
On that occasion, Gibran together with the Indonesian Ambassador to South Korea Gandi Sulistiyanto had a chance to talk about the exhibition plan that will be held by the Surakarta City Government in South Korea.
"The goal is indeed that, but it's still a secret. (The implementation) is not this year, but next year. If the beginning of the year (2023) Paris, Paris is here, to Solo", he said.
