This Afternoon, The Attorney General's Office Conveys The Examination Results Of Case Files For Ferdy Sambo And Colleagues

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) will announce the status of the case files for the suspects of premeditated murder and obstruction of justice in the Brigadier J case on Wednesday, September 28 this afternoon.

This announcement will determine the next steps for handling the case.

"On Wednesday (announced the status of the file, ed)," said the Head of the AGO, Ketut Sumedana, Tuesday, September 28.

If later the case file is declared complete (P21), then the Criminal Investigation Police investigator will carry out the second stage of delegation. The case file in question is the case of premeditated murder against Brigadier J with the mastermind Ferdy Sambo and the obstruction of justice file.

However, if P21 has not been stated, the AGO research prosecutor will return to return the case file. Police investigators then corrected the file according to the instructions of the public prosecutor.

Originally, said Ketut, the AGO had 14 days to check the completeness of the files for the premeditated murder case against Brigadier J.

In this case, the Police have named five suspects. They are Ferdy Sambo, Putri Chandrawahti, Bripka Ricky Rizal, Bharada Richard Eliezer, and Strong Ma'ruf.

The suspects are suspected under Article 340 subsidiary 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, regarding the obstruction of justice case, seven suspects have been named. They are Ferdy Sambo, Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan, Kombes Agus Nur Patria, Commissioner Chuck Putranto, Commissioner Baiquni Wibowo, AKBP Arif Rachman Arifin, and AKP Irfan Widyanto.

They are suspected of violating Article 49 in conjunction with Article 33 and/or Article 48 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph (1) Number 19 of 2016 UU ITE. In addition, they were also charged with Article 55 paragraph (1) and/or Article 221 paragraph (1) 2 and/or Article 233 of the Criminal Code.

On the previous occasion, the National Police also had a plan to transfer the second phase of all cases involving Ferdy Sambo.

The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that the second phase of the delegation would be carried out next week. Provided that the case file has been declared complete by the Attorney General's Office this week.

"Then after P21, of course, if this week P21 has been declared, next week, the suspect and evidence will be handed over to the prosecutor," said Dedi.
