Coordinating Minister Airlangga's Subordinates Said National Working Meeting Would Boost One Map Policy Implementation
JAKARTA - Deputy for Regional Development and Spatial Planning at the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Wahyu Utomo, said the government would boost the acceleration of the One Map Policy by holding a national working meeting (Rakernas) on October 4, 2022.
"We are accelerating the completion of the action plans that have been prepared by ministries/agencies and local governments," Wahyu said as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, September 13.
Wahyu said that every ministry/institution and local government has a plan which will then be discussed in detail and the problem points at the National Working Meeting which will be held in Jakarta with more than 500 total target participants from all provinces in Indonesia.
"So that we have a solution that we can start planning and we hope that in semester 1 of 2024 the action plan has been well mapped and made a joint commitment," he said.
In detail, the objectives of the implementation of the National Working Meeting for the One Map Policy consist of submitting the progress of the implementation of the One Map Policy and resolving Spatial Inconsistencies, dissemination of information systems to support the One Map Policy, and discussion of ideas, innovations, and breakthroughs in responding to the challenges of implementing the One Map Policy and Resolving Spatial Incompatibility.

The National Working Meeting which also invited universities, development partners, and associations, continued Wahyu, consisted of 3 series of events. First, a pre-event in the form of a poster & video competition for the One Map Policy and a media gathering.
Second, the main events include a ministerial forum, the launch of the IGT Overlapping Indicative Map Information System (SIPITTI), interactive dialogues, and national working meetings.
"In the One Map Policy National Working Meeting, there is Task Force 3, namely sharing geospatial data and information, one thing that might be waiting for the concept of which is already in the Presidential Regulation and has also been revised," said Wahyu.
For the side-event, there will be a timeline diorama of the One Map Policy regarding the 6-year journey of achieving the One Map Policy in Compilation, Integration, Synchronization and Sharing of Data Activities to encourage Indonesia's development progress and exhibition of the One Map Policy for Indonesia.
