JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 86.950 specimens were examined with the results of 4,094 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6.354.245 people and active cases have fallen from 774 to 44.434 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Thursday, September 1.
Today's recovered cases increased by 4.843 cases, bringing the total to 6.160.877 recovered people. Then, positive confirmation who died 25 and a total of 157.591 people.
The province with the highest number of new cases was DKI Jakarta with 1.702 cases and a total of 1.397.542 cases. Followed by West Java with 816 new cases with a total of 1.167.461 cases. Banten has 466 new cases and a total of 330.244 cases. Then, East Java with 417 new cases and a total of 598.121 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 1.725 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an increase of 1.381 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 407 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 405 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 106.819.620.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 10.81 percent", he wrote.
