Head Of Bangka Lao Manggarai Village, NTT Suspect Of Village Fund Corruption Of Rp544 Million Detained By Kejari
KUPANG - The Manggarai District Attorney, Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) detained the Head of Bangka Lao Village, Ruteng District, GSK, a suspect in a case of alleged corruption in the management of the revenue and expenditure allocation of Bangka Lao Village for the 2017-2019 Fiscal Year amounting to more than IDR 544 million.
"The suspect GSK have been detained by the Manggarai District Attorney for allegedly committing a criminal act of corruption in managing the revenue and expenditure allocation of the Bangka Lao village for three consecutive years", said the Head of the Intelligence Section of the Ruteng District Attorney, Ariz Rizky Ramadhon, as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, August 11.
According to him, the detention of GSK was carried out after the Manggarai Police Criminal Investigation Unit investigator handed over the suspect and evidence that had been declared complete to the Manggarai District Prosecutor's Office.

He said corruption cases carried out by GSK occurred during three fiscal years, namely in the 2017 fiscal year, 2018, and 2019 reaching more than IDR 544 million.
"The suspect has been detained at the Manggarai Police Detention Center while waiting for the transfer of files to the corruption court to undergo trial", he said.
According to him, the GSK suspect is suspected of committing a criminal act under the suspicion of Article 2 paragraph 1, subsidiary to Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of the Law on the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption.
