Governor Khofifah Shows Off, The Highest Realization Of East Java Provincial Government Nationally
SURABAYA - East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa conveyed the highest realization of local provincial government revenues nationally.
Based on data from the Budget Realization Report (LRA) as of July 30, 2022, at the Directorate General of Regional Finance of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the realization of the East Java Provincial Government's revenue was IDR 16.43 trillion from the target of IDR 27.64 trillion or 59.46 percent.
Meanwhile, the realization of the East Java Provincial Government spending based on the LRA as of July 30, 2022, was IDR 13.751 trillion or 46.69 percent, the third highest in Indonesia after West Java and Bengkulu.

For information, the 2022 East Java Regional Budget is IDR 29.454 trillion.
Khofifah, who is also a former Minister of Social Affairs, also explained the cash position of regional governments in East Java, both the East Java Provincial Government and the Regency/City Government as of July 30, 2022, based on Bank Jatim data, it was recorded at IDR 24,661 trillion.
"Of this amount, cash belonging to the East Java Provincial Government is IDR 5.753 trillion, while the remaining IDR 18.908 trillion is cash belonging to 38 regencies/cities," said Khofifah.
It was also stated that from the IDR 5.753 trillion cash, IDR 4 trillion was the remaining excess of the 2021 budget which according to regulations could only be used after the determination of the 2022 APBD changes.

Meanwhile, as the representative of the central government in the regions, she said, the East Java Provincial Government will continue to coordinate and encourage 38 regencies/cities to immediately accelerate the realization of spending.
The goal is to be able to become a stimulus for the community's economy when the East Java economy begins to grow.
