Kioson Launches Sameday Delivery Service Through Gudang Pintar, Reaching 25 Cities In Indonesia
JAKARTA - The modern warehousing ecosystem owned by PT Kioson Komersial Indonesia Tbk (KIOS) will continue to grow throughout 2022.
Most recently, the online-to-offline technology issuer has launched a same-day delivery service that reaches 25 cities throughout Indonesia. This step was taken after KIOS attracted 350 small and medium business (SME) brands into its ecosystem. Some of the brands that have joined include Gamal Men, Dew It Skin, Edifier, Moft, ARBIT, Rise & Shine by Raisa, Herbami by DJ Katy, Vinyx, Toffin, Forge Active Wear, and many others.
The presence of this service will certainly facilitate the flow of goods distribution.
"Goods can move faster and closer to consumers, the shipping costs can be reduced to make it cheaper," said CEO of KIOS, Andrew, in a statement, quoted Tuesday, August 2.
Kioson's various business expansions cannot be separated from the high potential for online trading in Indonesia, and even Asia.
Analysis from RedSeer states that Indonesia is predicted to become the main growth contributor to the e-commerce market in Asia Pacific, which will reach 137.5 billion US dollars in 2025. With this estimate, the country contributes 59 percent of the total Asia Pacific transaction value of 231 billion US dollars.
The rise of online buying and selling transactions is directly proportional to the needs of logistics and fulfillment centers. Especially for business people who want cheaper shipping costs and sell without having to think about stock items.
Andrew added, his party is increasingly aggressively adding GudangPintar in a number of areas again.
"We continue to be committed to adding warehouses in several parts of Indonesia, such as in Batu Retno Wonogiri, Juwiring Klaten, and Gemolong Sragen. Until March 2022, KIOS already has 145 warehouses with 92,789 MSME stall partners and will continue to be expanded by the company," he explained.
