Seo Ji Hye's Praise For Jisung In Adamas Drama: Very Professional And Experienced

JAKARTA - Drama Adamas became a reunion for Ji Sung and actress Seo Ji Hye after a decade of not acting together in an audio-visual project. In 2010, they played together in Kim Su Ro's historical drama, The Iron King.

"It feels good, because we are both healthy and very happy to be able to compete acting together again in front of the camera," said Ji Sung, quoted from ANTARA, Thursday, July 28.

"I'm also happy to be joining Ji Sung again. It feels easy for me to work with him because he is very professional and experienced," Ji Hye added.

Ji-hye in Adamas plays Eun Hye-su. The actress revealed that the characters in this series were written with many mysteries.

"This series is very special because there are many characters in it, and they have their own secrets. There are many mysteries that are revealed each time, and that's what made me dive into the script that was written very well," said Ji-hye.

Adamas is set 20 years ago, where the world of Ha Woo-sin and Song Su-hyeon, two twin brothers, was shattered when their beloved stepfather was murdered. After the traumatic event, the two brothers grow up to become prosecutors and mystery novel writers.

Their life goes on as usual until one day, their old wounds reopen when their biological father is the suspect accused in the murder case.

To uncover the truth in the case, the two use their abilities to find the real killer as well as "Adamas" -- a bloodied diamond arrow that is the key to uncovering the conspiracy.

"Although the investigation thriller seems to fit into the main genre of the series, I think this series is quite different because of the many elements such as drama, action, and noir. You could say this is a hybrid form of various genres," explained director Park Seung-woo.

"I'm really excited to bring this series to you all soon," he added.

Besides Ji Sung and Ji-hye, "Adamas" also stars Lee Soo-kyung as Kim Seo-hui, Heo Sung-tae as Choi Tae-seong.
