COVID-19 Update As Of July 27: New Cases 6,438, Active Cases Increase To 46,024
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 141,961 specimens were examined with the results of 6,438 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,185,311 people and active cases have increased by 2,602 to 46,024 cases", said Ministry of Health data, Wednesday, July 27.
Today's recovered cases increased by 3,825 cases, bringing the total to 5,982,347 recovered people. Then, positive confirmation that 11 died and a total of 156,940 people.
The province with the highest number of new cases was DKI Jakarta with 3,729 cases and a total of 1,319,870 cases. Followed by West Java with 1,181 new cases with a total of 1,130,267 cases. Banten has 761 new cases and a total of 309,111 cases. Then, East Java with 364 new cases and a total of 583,956 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 1,781 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 666 recovered cases, Banten with an additional 603 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 320 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 103,240,858.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week was 5.94 percent", it wrote.
