Citayam Fashion Week Is Attracting Many Teenagers, LPAI Asks DKI Jakarta Provincial Government To Provide A Place For Channeling Creative Talent

JAKARTA - The trend of SCBD (Sudirman, Citayam, Bojong, Depok) continues to inspire teenagers, so Citayam Fashion Week in the Dukuh Atas area, Central Jakarta is flooded with visitors from various regions in Greater Jakarta.

As the number of teenagers increased, the Chair of the Indonesian Child Protection Agency (LPAI) Seto Mulyadi or Kak Seto also paid attention to SCBD youth. Kak Seto also attended the Citayam Fashion Week event.

"We see the young teenagers here as children who are full of potential and creativity, full of bright ideas that you can shake up Indonesia with the creativity of your young teenagers who can then use their works, especially in the field of fashion," said Kak Seto in Dukuh Atas, Central Jakarta, Saturday, July 23.

Kak Seto's arrival to Dukuh Atas is to commemorate National Children's Day which falls today. Kak Seto said the Citayam Fashion Week phenomenon has entered other areas.

"Even some areas have started participating in Malang, I heard that they have participated in Citayam Fashion Week, even from Japan from Harajuku also expressed their appreciation," he said.

Even so, Kak Seto appealed to teenagers to continue to comply with health protocols. He also reminded them to disperse before it was too late.

"But what you need to remember is that first of all, please maintain health protocols, take care of your health, get enough rest, don't stay up until midnight or even until morning or even sleep on the streets, it also disturbs your health, including the safety of all of you," he said.

Kak Seto also appealed to teenagers not to do negative things. He said his party would continue to monitor the activities of teenagers in the Dukuh Atas area.

Furthermore, Kak Seto said that teenagers should avoid the possibility of various acts of violence.

"Avoid the possibility of persuasion of drugs, liquor, cigarettes and so on that can interfere with the health of all younger siblings. We also ask the DKI Regional Government as well as the Central Government to provide the right platform to channel all of your younger siblings' creativity," he said.

Previously, it was reported that Citayam Fashion Week (CFW) in the Dukuh Atas area was in the spotlight of a number of circles. The trend in this area is suspected to be initiated by the presence of a number of teenagers from SCBD (Sudirman, Citayam, Bojonggede, Depok).

One of the SCBD teenagers who is in the spotlight is Roy. Roy's name became more prominent after refusing a scholarship offer from the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno.

Roy admitted that he actually wanted the scholarship offer given by one of the ministers in Indonesia.

"Actually, I want to, but I'm afraid to disappoint everyone later, rather than being given a scholarship but I'm lazy," said Roy in the Dukuh Atas area, Friday, July 22.

Roy explained that the world of education is important, but there is a need to make money at this time more important.

"I really support Mr. Sandi's scholarship program, because it's very good," he said.

Roy also added that he would temporarily focus on making money first.

"I want to focus on making money first, I have a sister who is also 7 years old, and I often give money from my work to my parents," he admitted.
