Clear Sky Of Moscow City Welcomes Jokowi's New Arrival Met Zelensky
JAKARTA - The Garuda Indonesia GIA-1 aircraft landed smoothly at Vnukovo II Airport at around 11.00 local time. The clear skies of Moscow City welcomed the arrival of President Joko Widodo and Iriana.
Jokowi arrived in Russia, Thursday, June 30, 2022. The day before, Jokowi had just met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Maryinsky Palace, Kyiv.
After the plane door opened, President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana got off the plane and were greeted by Russian Federation officials including the Head of State Protocol of the Russian Federation Igor Viktorovich Bogdashev and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Bogdanov as quoted from the Press, Media and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat.
In addition, the Indonesian Ambassador to Moscow, Jose Antonio Morato Tavares, and his wife and the Defense Attache of the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow, Colonel Budi Susilo, and his wife, also welcomed.
From the airport, President Jokowi and Ibu Iriana and their entourage will head to a transit hotel before heading to the Kremlin to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Also accompanying the President and Mrs. Iriana were Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.
