Elon Musk Blunders, Asking Tesla Workers To Work From The Office But Poor Internet Network And Limited Parking Space

JAKARTA - After Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, ordered employees who work remotely or work from home to return to work in the office or would lose their jobs, Tesla itself is reportedly not ready to welcome back its workers.

According to a report from The Information, employees arrived at the Tesla Fremont, California facility only to find a lack of parking space, no tables to sit at, and poor Wi-Fi. Even though Musk has a very strong Starlink network.

The richest man in the world clearly didn't think about this.

The number of Tesla employees has doubled since 2019. According to company records, there are now 99.210 employees at Tesla. Earlier this month, Musk cited excessive hiring and a "very bad feeling" about the economy as reasons for a hiring freeze and company-wide layoffs that reportedly included both regular and hourly paid workers.

Salary workers make up about a third of the company's employees, though it's unclear how many of them work in Tesla's offices or factories.

During the pandemic, most of the employees who used to report to Tesla's Fremont campus, which is made up of office buildings and factories, are staying at home, at least until Musk calls everyone back to work.

The current employee at Tesla, told The Information that those who drive to work at the Fremont plant struggle to find a parking spot for his car. Some reportedly choose to park their car at a nearby BART station and then be escorted to work by an attendant from Tesla.

Musk's plans to get employees back to work were partially thwarted, by his own accord. But Musk is a busy man. He also runs SpaceX, and things seem to be going well (if that means potentially firing employees who criticize your behavior illegally).

Musk is either buying Twitter or at least having a fight with the social media company about how many of its users are bots.

He has also expressed his feelings about remote work on Twitter, which he will only allow for those who do "excellent" work. Twitter employees, be prepared to receive a strange decision from Musk any minute.
