Bali Police Destroy 39 Kilograms Of Drugs
DENPASAR - The Bali Police destroyed 39 kilograms of drugs consisting of marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, psychotropic substances, and ecstasy.
"In addition to securing evidence, this destruction aims to protect the public. This also shows the seriousness of the Police in fighting drugs and creating a conducive situation for the Balinese people and all tourists who come to Bali", said Director of Drug Investigation of the Bali Police, Commissioner Mochamad Khozin, Friday, June 24.
He said this extermination had a clear legal basis and the principle of benefit for the community.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief of the Bali Police, Brigadier General I Ketut Suardana, said the 39 kilograms of drugs were collected by the Bali Police from the Bali Narcotics Investigation Unit throughout 2022.
"Based on the results of the disclosure of cases during 2022, the total evidence in the form of methamphetamine or methamphetamine weighing 35,179.18 grams, marijuana weighing 2,669.4 grams, cocaine weighing 133.3 grams, which is in capsule form as many as 766 pills and MDMA in powder form weighing 1,335.68 grams. The last one is in the form of psychotropics, namely 1,000 grains or 150 grams", he explained.
