700 Ukrainian Prisoners Are In Lugansk, LPR Leader: Fate Decided By Court, Everyone Gets Deserved Punishment
JAKARTA - Head of Public Affairs Leonid Pasechnik revealed that about 700 Ukrainian prisoners of war were in the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg (SPIEF), Thursday.
"About 700 prisoners of war are currently in LPR territory. Of course, this number is constantly changing, increasing. What will happen to them: I think the court will decide, the court will decide," he stressed as quoted by TASS, June 16.
Pasechnik further explained that the punishment will depend on the offense committed by each individual.
"If someone takes part in the shooting of civilians and the mass murder of the Donbass population, that is one type of punishment. If he is somewhere handing over ammunition, it will probably be another type of punishment," he explained.
