5,020 Anti-drug Banners To Be Installed In Gunung Mas Regency, Do You Want To Fight Drugs Or For The Sake Of A Record?
JAKARTA - Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan, intends to break the record for the Indonesian Museum of Records (MURI) to install the most banners about the declaration of war against narcotics, and psychotropics and illegal drugs.
"The effort to break the MURI record is carried out in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the local district which falls on June 21, 2022. It also declares war on drugs", said Gunung Mas Jaya Regent, S Monong, in Kuala Kurun, Monday, June 13, quoted from Antara.
It is planned that there are 5,020 banners about the war on drugs will be installed. This number represents the number 5,000 aimed at breaking the MURI record and the number 20 is adjusted to the 20th anniversary of Gunung Mas Regency.
The regent said that the banners that were installed would later be designed with a narrative of the war against drugs, both in Indonesian and in local languages.
Still, on the anniversary of Gunung Mas Regency, there will also be an office cleaning competition, a speech competition with the theme of drug prevention and eradication, and a march singing competition for the National Narcotics Agency (BNN).
"For a speech competition with the theme of drug prevention and eradication, the plan is specifically for junior high and high school students", he said.
