COVID-19 Update As Of June 13: 591 New Cases From Examination Of 66,300 Specimens

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 66,300 specimens were examined with the result that there were 591 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,061,079 and active cases have increased by 192 to 4,926", said Ministry of Health data, Monday, June 13.

Today's recovered cases increased by 390 people, bringing the total to 5,899,501 people recovered. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 9 cases and totaled 156,652 people.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 348 cases and a total of 1,253,867 cases. Followed by West Java with 80 new cases with a total of 1,107,533 cases. Banten with 74 new cases and a total of 293,879 cases. East Java with 25 new cases and a total of 576,712 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 182 recovered cases. Followed by Banten with an increase of 39 recovered cases, East Java with an additional 37 recovered cases, and West Java with an additional 36 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 99,559,408.

"Positive results per number of people tested or this week's positivity rate of 1.06 percent", it wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 2,475 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

So far, 200,866,728 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 168,096,426 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

While the third dose of vaccination was 47,706,145. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
