FP3 MotoGP Barcelona: Aleix Espargaro Beats Duo Pramac Ducati, 4th Bagnaia, 6th Quartararo
JAKARTA - Aprilia Racing's Aleix Espargaro dominates the third free practice session of the Barcelona MotoGP at the Catalunya Circuit, Saturday, June 4. He carved the fastest lap time of 1 minute 38,771 seconds.
That record made Aleix Espargaro break the lap record at the Catalunya Circuit. Previously, the lap record was held by Fabio Quartararo who recorded a time of 1 minute 38,853 seconds in 2021.
In this third free practice session, Aleix Espargaro beat the records of two Pramac Ducati riders, Johann Zarco and Jorge Martin, who finished second and third. Zarco carved a time of 1 minute 38,902 seconds, while Martin 1 minute 39,005 seconds.
Ducati rider, Francesco Bagnaia, had to settle for fourth place after recording a lap time of 1 minute 39,007 seconds.
Meanwhile, Fabio Quartararo, who rode a Yamaha motorbike, took sixth place, with a time of 1 minute 39,088 seconds
