72-Year-Old Grandfather Enters Alfamart While Carrying Knives, Asks For Money At The Cashier
CILACAP – The robbery took place at Alfamart, Klapalima Street, South Cilacap, Tuesday, May 31, at around 18.12 western Indonesia time. During the action, the perpetrator, who was wearing a sebo mask, carried a knife and had held the cashier at gunpoint. The suspect, who had fled, was caught by the locals. The perpetrator, is a 72-year-old man.
The Cilacap Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Adjutant Eko Widiantoro, explained that based on the testimony of witnesses at the scene, one person was wearing a jacket and hat. At that time the perpetrator entered the Alfamart pretending to look for goods and joined the queue at the cashier.
After the situation at the cashier was quiet, the perpetrator asked the cashier if he wanted to buy Fox glue. The cashier said there isn't any. Then the perpetrator left Alfamart, then shortly after seeing the situation, he went back into Alfamart.
“The witness said that there was a conversation between the perpetrator and the cashier. The perpetrator asked the cashier "What glue is there?" The cashier answered and showed Aibon glue. After the perpetrator approached the cashier, he immediately took a knife from inside his jacket and said "Hand over all the money." Gatot said, based on a written statement, Wednesday, June 1.

The perpetrator, still explained by Gatot, took the money from the cashier and put it in a jacket, then fled. Simultaneously, the screams of the cashier made the local residents triggered to arrest the perpetrator.
The perpetrator with the initials C (72) is a fisherman who lives in Dayung Street, South Cilacap. And now it has been secured at the South Cilacap Police for further investigation.
Police officers seized a knife used by the perpetrator, money, a jacket, and a black sebo mask covering his face.
