Waiting For Arhan's Primary Debut In Tokyo Verdy: Supporters Please Be Patient, I've Just Recovered From An Injury
JAKARTA - Indonesian national team left-back Pratama Arhan asked his supporters to be patient while waiting for his debut match in the Japanese League 2 (J2 League) with Tokyo Verdy.
"For fans, please be patient because everything needs adjustment. I have just recovered from an injury," said Arhan after training with the "Garuda" squad at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, June 1.
The 20-year-old player said that his adaptation process in Japan did not go smoothly as expected.
He had to struggle to get used to the weather. In addition, Arhan also has to do high-intensity training, something he doesn't get at clubs in the country.
The situation was even more unfavorable because he suffered an ankle injury during his trial period with Tokyo Verdy.
However, the injury has gotten better after he started therapy. Arhan can also join the Indonesian national team to face Bangladesh in a FIFA-friendly match at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, Wednesday 1 June, starting at 20.30 WIB.
The footballer from Blora, Central Java, was very enthusiastic about welcoming the match because he had been absent from the Indonesian national team for about five months.
The last time Arhan wore a Garuda uniform was at the end of January 2022, when he was selected as the coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-Yong, in a friendly match against Timor Leste.

Returning to his career in Japan, Primary Arhan believes he can still talk a lot in the Land of Sakura because the football atmosphere there is very supportive of improving a player's performance.
"The training method is good and has high intensity. The pitch is of high quality and we are comfortable in training. I am sure we can develop even better," said Arhan.
